last hurrahs
we went to alton towers yesterday. yes, i know, it was after the bombings but we went anyway. i WAs a bit nervous but i'm glad i went.
alton towers is a big amusement park. sherry and i rode nemesis and oblivion and i kept thinking shirley would SO love this place. we rode the runaway mine train had fried doughnuts and had a lovely run in with a group of young men dressed as superheros-- superman, batman, the flash, supergirl, wonderwoman-- yes supergirl and wonderwoman. sherry was in love.
on our way back in hte coach, sherry asked me what i was going to do and where i was going to be in the next year. and then she says, 'i'm goign to visit you in hte philippines! i'm serious.' sherry is moving out tomorrow. sheena moved out today. i think we're all feeling a bit sad.
sheena moved out today. on her last day, we had a runin with a psycho chav girl on the train, got pissed at yali's house on 2 bottles of champers (courtesy of yali's lovely dad, had lunch with yali's family, scared people on the train, watched little britain, played one last game of life and waited for sheena's aunt and uncle to come pick her up. we carried her stuff out and when it was all loaded there was nothing left to do but get emotional. when sheena's van pulled out of the driveway i started remembering stuff we'd been through together. how she calmed me down while i was freaking out over my paper. hanging out over tea and hollyoaks with the other girls. just living with someone makes you miss them when they go.
sherry is going tomorrow. she's my best friend in england and i'm gutted because i'll have no one to watch big brother with, no one to perv over men with, no one to perform little britain skits with, no one to go on chocolate runs with. snif.
problem with living in another country is that it starts to feel like home. and when it's time to actually go home, you're not sure where to place yourself anymore.

the safest time to go anywhere is after something bad happened to it. well, unless soldiers planted mines or stuff in a blown up house like you see in the movies. but since security has gone up simply because something blew up nearby means everything's relatively safe as terrorists decide to lie low for a bit. like, say, two or three weeks.
"got pissed"? my my, fran's such a londoner now, isn't she? whether it's forever or just a few months, come home please? we miss you :)
